LPS Sneak Peek - Fairytale Adventure

Here we go with LPS sneak peek - day 4...whoa, I'm bushed! This first creation was all done by proxy via Charlotte. We went to M's to get some stickers and paper for the BG. She then directed me on the coloring of every item here (the princess had to be pink; the dragon is a friendly purple dragon, etc.). Now this sits proudly on her dresser (since she created it, you know).

The second item is just a fun little boy birthday card. I can't believe how many kids' birthday cards there are in my stash! I think some adults I know are going to be getting some of these in the coming months!

Have a peek at the rest of the creations by the LPS DT! (Gosh, I love me an acronym!)

Maybe I have confused some of y'all...

On my last post here, I am indeed showing off baby #3 (who will be 14 weeks old [gestation-wise] on Monday). I am feeling lots of flutters now (especially when I lie on my back...none of these kids let me lie on my back for very long...they start rolling and kicking like mad when I try to do that!). Here's my only pregnancy pic thus far (from almost a month ago...I am already showing even then!).

      Last to Post...

      ...but for a good reason!

Truly, I am certifiable. In my need to highlight today's LPS sneak peek, "All My Family", I decided to create a little book for the kids. What was I thinking?!? I worked on this the good part of the day. Thankfully, DH didn't roll his eyes but let me waste away the evening finishing it.

Here's my thinking on this project. Most kids love to look at themselves in pictures. I figured I would create one that, even if it doesn't attract that much interest with T and C, WJ #3 would certainly enjoy it. Of course, by the time it is all said and done, this could be one weathered, dogeared, sucked-on little item!

      Notes:

      • For the larger-sized sentiments, I used LPS' alphabet set  {a to z}.
      • All DP is Cupcake by Basic Grey.
      • Album size is 3" x 5.5".

      Posting a Creation...

      ...and there's still light out!

Okay, ever since I got my stamp sets from Julia, Charlotte has been carting this one (Tutu-rific) around. (I have even stamped off images for her...she takes them to bed and clutches them while falling asleep). She has been bugging me to create something for her since she is a ballerina (and a princess). So, in a stroke of uncommon genius, I made her this coaster decoration for her room. (And yes, her room is painted blue. All the kids rooms in this house are painted blue since there were four boys here previously. Am I lazy when it comes to this issue? You bet!)

I haven't done this in some time but there are some gals who are just perfecting their skillz lately (color me green!).

To those chosen (and if you feel like it), add this graphic to your sidebar to prove to others that you indeed rock!
      Here's the code: <a href="http://stampinwhenican.blogspot.com/" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183348394723230018" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_AV7rYTbAdUs/R-7z5waRwUI/AAAAAAAADQo/h31wTfv6LGk/s400/rocking.jpg" style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" /></a>

P.S. The good thing about this award is there is no need to tag anyone...woo hoo!

A Sneak Peak of Endless Arrangements

Part of the problem of going last (since I am always last to blog!) on the LPS design team is to not get taken in by another's design (why do I peek? I just can't help myself). Since I didn't want to copy someone else, I went with two cards that I hoped were different (of course, now I am worried they may be a little "too different").

This set is pretty durn versatile. Lots of flowers and stems...good for focal points or as a background. See ya tomorrow!

And, if you want to do the go-round with the other LPS gals (since they will post long before I do) for tomorrow's sneak peek, check 'em out here!

          The WJs in Action

The WJs have been home for two hours. In that time:

          • They have trashed my office with their crafts.
          • I retrieved two goldfish crackers from Charlotte's nose. She told me she didn't put them there so they have been brought back up from snacktime...yuck!.
          • Tristan threw the cat into Charlotte's bath. They laughed their asses off but Bear didn't like it (obviously) and scratched Tristan. Now I have to clean up crazed cat footprints from around this house...
How do they do this? I was either with them or one room away in all cases... And to think, another one of these is inside me catching up on all the crib notes left in there by the previous two (a collected treatise on how to drive Mommy batty!).

          Yes Bonnie, I'm late!

As Bonnie reminds all of us, I am always late to post! Hey, it's still July 15th...that counts!

Anyhoo, this is Bonnie's challenge for the DT: stitching on the card with a June release set. Since I failed to show off this set (Gone Fishin') during the sneak peeks, I am using it now! In addition, I pulled out this ol' fav of a technique: girder stitching. I thought it would be a neat combo for this set.

Since I used such bright DP (which I do like), I chose to paper piece all of the elements. And I added the "Happy Birthday" from the Still Hot Granny set since I can always have an extra masculine birthday card kicking around!

Why not catch up with the other LPS gals too (although, maybe you have already seen them all...smirk!)?

          While I was working out...

          ...my instructor played this song:

Is it even legal to infect my brain with the likes of Stacey Q?

P.S. Bravo to all of you old enough to remember this song!

          Sneak Peek...of Someone New!

Well save Pascale (who hinted that she thought something was up [my post about napping gave me away]), I have kept something, ahem someone, relatively under wraps.

Now that I have verification, I will introduce, well, I don't know exactly who (I only know that they have half my DNA)...

Let's pretend that this blurry image is indeed my 13 week, 2 day old infant jumping away inside (and s/he seems to be up for "wild jackal" status too!). In the last two weeks, I finally have gotten over the queasiness and now am riding the wave of the second trimester honeymoon. I am still working out (since I have a short torso and giant babies, I am trying to keep my growing self under control) and all's good.

Off to finish my LPS DT card (and do some work...blech!).

          Are you an SU demo...

...in the San Diego area? My Canadian compatriot Yosha has moved south for work...if you can hook her up, go give her a shout on her blog.
