...how's that alliteration for ya?
- Great Flames game last night. Hopefully the seventh player (i.e., the fans) helps them out tomorrow night too!
- I love tweeting. I have been sent all over the net following the links people post - some are thoughtful, some funny and some upsetting. Regardless, I really like being open to all these new people and ideas. (I had new followers last night just from my game tweeting...won't they be surprised when they see all my crafty tweets?!)
- Six years ago tonight (at exactly 7 PM PDT), my little boy was born. His was such an easy delivery - I was fully juiced up on my epidural and he came out in about three pushes or so. Of course, it didn't take long until my little porker made his true self known...he would eat and eat! On his first month check-up, he had gained five pounds (more than a pound per week). Here's an example of his fatty self at that age...

- Needless to say, T made out like a bandit on the present front again. I stole all the gift cards out of his envelopes before he even knew of their existence since that kid does not need any more prezzies right now! If only Toys 'R Us sold groceries, I would be golden!
- Ave will be four months in four days. She is still not eleven pounds yet but I think I may have solved her napping problem. Right at the twenty minute mark, she stirs and usually cries out. If I can get to her ASAP, pop her soos in, start her buzzy chair and wrap my robe around her (she, like most babies, loves the smell of her mama!), I can get her back to sleep. From there she has at least a 90 minute nap (yay!). She is so much happier when fully rested.
(Note: I got the best robe from Restoration Hardware as a Christmas present from my MIL. If you are in the market for one, check it out...totally comfy [and they fit big]! And, as a total coincidence, Ave got the matching teddy bear as a gift!)
- I didn't realize till I thought about it today how much Ave still acts like a newborn. She can only stay up (cheerfully) for an hour or so before she needs to back to sleep. When she is up, she can sit in her bumbo or on my hip. She has no urgency to roll over, have tummy time or attempt to make any motions save sucking her hands. It really doesn't bother me (I am enjoying her "petite-ness") - I just find it so surprising to juxtapose her versus T and C.
- Okay, I'm outie!
