Tumbled Tiles!

I watched Gina K's vid on tumbled tile coasters and I had to go out and get the supplies to do it right away! As you will notice, I went at it a little differently than that which is presented in the video.
  • Gina recommended going through the boxes of tiles to get ones without a great deal of pocking. So, T and I were on the floor going through them as DH and the girls looked on. It's all in the name of crafting though!
  • Went to Mike's and got some Adirondack inks (Cabin Cupboard Kit) with my coupon.
  • Mixed the three on felt and then pounced all over the tile (I repeated this about three times but still left spots showing for an "au naturale" feel.
  • Used Black Staz-On for the grass, butterfly and sentiment.
This project was super easy...the only caveat I have (and this may just be due to my inexperience) is I find that rubber stamps work better than polymer (hence all the SU! products here!).

These are wonderful! Think I like them more than the ones in the video, but don't tell Gina K-Ha! Now I know I have to go dig through boxes of tiles to make some gift sets for my DIL.
