Here's my outcome:I elected to create some apples (to play off the image itself) out of my 1/2" circle punch for embellishments...uh, yeah. Okay, so it's not superb but you get the idea.
(Note to self: When card sketch calls for embellishments, do a girl card! So much easier with primas, buttons, etc.!)

Oh I am glad you didn't make a girl card...this card is just so cute with the bookworm Riley and the apples are the perfect touch...you may have had to think a little bit more but the effect is GREAT!
