I LOVE my Inkssentials (yep, that's the way to spell it) white pen, although right now it is somewhere nasty, on my desk, forcing me to use my white gelly roll pen on tomorrow's card. It is pretty good too except the ink doesn't show up until after few minutes, so you are never too sure how it looks until later! Inkssentials is available at All That Scraps, Ellen Hutson, Starlit Studio. Souffle at Hope Stamps Eternal......I'm kind of bias towards HSE....hehe...
I'm definitely another vote for the Ranger one!! Love it!
I searched and searched for th eRanger pen and gave up locally. I now have a Sailor pen-with a couple gel pens as backups.(my one cat takes all my pens and I haven't found his stash yet). My problem is with other than Copic blender pens. I went to use two last night that were brand new never used but stored and they emitted brown substance, not the clear stuff I normally need. Nothing made them clear, so I figured the juice in them aged, so were no longer any good.
The problem with the blender pens were from CTMH, Zig, and one other brand, NOT COPIC!
That Ranger pen is hands down the best white gel pen I've ever used. It's the 3rd or 4th brand I've tried and has given me the most consistent results!
I've had better luck with my white Gelly Roll by Sukura than the Signo penS I've owned.
i have the sakura gelly roll white pen and it's ok, but just ok...i had the opportunity to use an Inksentials from Ranger when Cuppy Cake was here and it is way way better
I have both the Inkssential and the Signo...I have the same problem with both...I was thinking of storing my new pen in a baggie to see if that would keep the pen longer...I don't know...it is so frustrating that the one time of the year I want to use it...it is dry...go figure LOL
I've only used the Signo and Inkssentials, and I think the Inkssentials flows a bit better.
Yep, the Ranger one is good...just don't store it tip down or ink will fill up the lid and spill everywhere. Ask how I know...;)
I love my Ranger ... I've had it for quite a while with no problems.
Inkssentials gets my vote!
I have yet to find one that I really like and have tried most of them. My next purchase is the Sharpie White Pen. I've only heard good things, but I don't know what kind of tip it has or where to get one. Every time I get to Michaels where I would look, I forget. Now... I have a true purpose to go there and really look.
I have purchased the sharpie white pen and definitely did not like it at all...it didn't work well and the point was far too thick. I have always purchased the white gel pens from Stampin' Up and really like them. After a certain length of time, even they refuse to work, unfortunately.
I use a Sakura white paint pen that I picked up from my local art store. It's not the best to write with (like on the inside of cards, etc.), I find that the Signo (SU) pen works best for that, but I really like the Sakura for detail work, etc.
I heard that Sharpie white pen is very good.
I'm with Sue: both have problems. I love my souffle pen by Sakura with an unnatural passion (anything by them is incredible quality.) I've often wished I worked for them.
Souffle (in white or other colours) goes on clear & takes a bit to dry, so it can be hard to see-but it is SO worth it. The white shows incredibly on black & has a nice shine & it stays put after it's dry not even Copic markers will budge it.
You can see it on this card here if you like. :O)
The Ranger pen is the best! I used to like the SU one but after a period of non-use they no longer write (I recently found this out) although there is still a ton of ink left.
With the Ranger pen if you start using it and have any trouble with ink flow, touch the tip to something damp just for a second and it'll be a dream.
