I was "collecting" rocks from a local construction site for my dry creek bed (which is 95% finished...I'll share some pics tomorrow), and I moved one of my "monster" rocks. It rolled quick and smashed my left ring finger between it and another rock. It hurt (and still does), but the ugliness of the bruise and associated swelling is what made me hang up the effort on finishing my gardening for the day. (P.S. Not giving y'all the finger here, honest. Unless you have recently ticked me off...)
Anyhoo, I slogged through my craft room (will it ever be tidy? I set up a space for the kids and now Charlotte's mess and mine are beginning to get way out of hand!) to complete the LPS Monday challenge using Cindy's sketch. At first glance, I was unsure what to do. I think making that larger panel DP and having the circle as my focal worked the best out of all my tries (in my head, that is).Anyhoo, I think you know what I am gonna say now...head on over to the LPS blog to see what the other gals created and then try it out yourself for a chance at some digis! And remember, you don't have to have LPS stamps to play, so come on out!
Positive note of the day: Enjoyed all my hard work today despite the "injuries". I love seeing a project through completion. I just need a cabana boy to put all my tools away when I am done!
