- Last night was a little hellacious. Ave was sick with a stomach bug for the first time. Had to change the sheets twice, use my PJs as a catch-all (yuck) and clean her up more times than I would have liked. She was so pale and tired but once she felt better, she put on some smiles. Totally forgot that old rule about not letting your baby have more than one or two ounces of fluid at a time when they are sick. She guzzled six ounces and then yacked again...bad mommy. Cleaned her up one last time, gave her an ounce and then she was out for a few hours. I saw her a couple more times last night but she didn't throw up anymore! (Of course, this morning, she still wreaks of "sick" and did heave once. Hopefully we are not going to see a resurgence this evening!)
- On nights like last night, it always seems that the other two "show up". T forgot to put on his "bedtime buddy" (and I was too busy with Ave to check) so he peed the bed. In he came at about two. C then showed up a couple hours later (how do they know to coordinate all these fun times?). Anyhoo, had to get up early to pump (totally forgot to in the midst of all the fun and whoa, was I full!) and this is how I found the kids when I came back upstairs.
Positive note of the day: I love looking at my grocery bill and seeing that I got a deal on everything but two items (especially with all the meat I bought [there's a tip...go early in the morning to see what they are clearing out!]). How domesticated and weird is that?

This photo touched my heart. How precious they are. Sorry that you had such a rough night and hope thie one you get some well deserved rest. I remember the things I have had to do when the kids are sick. Gross, but someones gotta do it and that someone is always mom :). The last time TR was sick he had it for almost a week... every night he would puke .. nurse and repeat. I tried to nurse him enough to calm him. What a nightmare it was. Hugs to you. You are a wonderful mommy!!

Aaaaww so cute! Don't you just love it when they are sleeping :) JK......Discounted meat is my thing too. I always try to hit superstore first thing in the morning when me needs to do some shopping.
