This one is a meh...
Tried to go monochromatic with this one that I made at Nancy's house recently (since this is her sentiment stamp [A*muse, I think] and Sizzix embossing folder [which is nice but I think, IMHO, needs to leave a deeper impression]). It's alright (I was mixing my Soft Suede CS and DP that I had ordered just before SU! went totalitarian on us) but I am not in love with it. Since there is no crafting time for me tonight, this is my Friday post. See ya on the flip side peeps!
Positive note of the day: Why aren't siestas mandatory worldwide? I think we would all be a lot more chipper!

I have recently found your site and have had a quick look around and I have to say that I love what I have seen. I just love this monochromatic card - these are the sorts of things I love to do myself. I have changed my style alot recently since blogging started in July but I have to say that I am well and truly hooked. Keep up the good work. I don't know all the details about Ave but have enjoyed reading your diaries about her and the other children - it must be wearing, daunting, exhilirating, rewarding and demoralising all at the same time. Keep smiling!! Will be back to read older posts very soon.

How can you possibly call that one "meh" - I like it!! It just goes to show that everybody has very different tastes when it comes to cards!! Sometimes I make one that I am not too keen on but my friends love it so.....!?!?
Not so bad - Okay Soft Suede isn't my fav either but with another color this would work for me.

Mmmmm...it looks like my morning coffee with cream!! Anything coffee colored gets a thumbs up from me!
Well, I like it!! I'm a sucker for polka dots anyway.
I am pretty impressed with this card.
