CC260 With Best Blossoms

I elected to do the SCS CC which I have not done in forevah. As such, I pulled out a stamp set I haven't used in forevah...Best Blossoms. I like how it came together with this Basic Grey Origins DP.

ETA: You can tell I was sleepy when I originally posted this...I forgot to say that I used Julee's Mojo Monday this week!

Positive note of the day: In my house, if we didn't have bad luck, we wouldn't have any. After Ave was successfully put down (I had to rock her to sleep tonight since she was so overwrought with only a 20 minute nap all day), I told Tristan we would go downstairs and play hockey in the basement. We had only played about five minutes when he fell into the elliptical (our basement is a menagerie of different use areas). He got quite the deep cut right near his eyebrow which necessitated a trip to the clinic for stitches. He was very good once he calmed down...I just had to keep him engaged as we waited our turn (we played lots of the alphabet game where we pick a topic [e.g., fish] and then we have to figure out one for each letter as we go through from A to Z. I was so good at this when I was a kid but now I suck.). We didn't get home till quite late so I don't know if I will send him to school in the morning (esp. if he ends up with a headache). One thing's for sure...it's never boring around here!

Gorgeous card. Love that color combo and stamp set. It's one I'll always keep. Sorry to hear about Tristan. You are a great Mom - so patient and kind to your kids.

Great card! Love the spring like colors! I hope Tristan feels better and mommy too! It happens.....I know one night we were all getting settled for bed. I was bathing Cort, Kyle had his jammies on when he tripped with scissors in his hand. (no joke!) He sliced the top of his eyebrow....pretty bad. I was hysterical! It's pretty pathetic when my 4 year old says to me, "I'm ok mommy....really." from the backseat on the way to the ER!

Hi Allison,
I love your card, the papers you used, how you layered the sentiment over the leaf image and created both sentiment and image as the focal. Beautiful card!
As for your "luck", boy, you are a trooper and great mom. I hope you both are feelin' ok today!
As I have said before, it does get easier...at some point ;)

Oh! before I forget, there are some issues going on with blogger. I am one of the affected ones. Pleople have been reporting that they lost all their comments or (like me) a have a wrong count of them. Check yours! Do you have any idea what could be happening??

sorry for the long comment, I am sure people will be asking you about this.

hugs....

Beautiful card I love the green pattern paper , I hope little man is doing well and another game to keep in mind for Dr an clinic visits could be the Animal game. You name different parts of an animal and then ask what animal am I? My kids love it and it keep them calm and it makes us look like we have it together :)

Poor guy! and being a facial cut I am sure he bled a lot too, which I am sure did not help the situation. Well, hope he is feeling better now. :0)
