Late Posting...

Usually I pre-post but my Ave has spent the last two nights getting up every half-hour so I just ignored my computer last night. (Note: She doesn't do this with Brad...just me. I think she knows I am sucker for her crying out so she pushes the limit. Tonight, I think I will sleep in the car just to ignore her...ha ha!)

Anyway, I have another PTI card today from the Cal-gals get-together this past Friday (good thing I got a bunch done since I have no time with Spring break upon us!). I love this set but sometimes I struggle to get a good impression...I paired it with Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg.

Positive note of the day: Here is a not-so-positive note...I guess the positive note would be, if anything, that Tristan was not maimed as a result of what he said.

This morning, as I was readying breakfast and washing the floor (again!), I asked him to bring down the hamper from upstairs so I could start a load of laundry. Once he brought it down he said, "You're so lazy making me go get the hamper". Oh my...I can brush off a lot of things that my kids say and do but this got my blood boiling. I then proceeded to ask him what I was doing right now (making him breakfast) and then railed on about my sleepless night. I then told him to apologize to me but I still don't think it resonated with him how much I was P.O.'d. See...wouldn't you have wanted to kill him too? And he is still breathing...positive note of the day!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Great use of dp - as always. I think you showed truly remarkable restraint - any of my brood would have been buried in the back yard by now had they been that brazen! ~chris

Love the colors on this card. Just wait until a few years from now-my Tristan says things that I just want to POP him for. Hopefully it will have sunk in for him what he said to you. I think I would have said, "if I'm being so lazy, I think I'll go take a nap while YOU make ME breakfast!"

Sorry you have to go through that, I can empathize with you!

Oh, I love those two colors together! It is a gorgeous card.

Yeap! I have been there and I feel your pain. My little girl has done that too.

Fabulous card. I love the stamp set too but struggle with the same thing and consequently have hardly ever used it. (Good candidate for our EONAC!) Hope you get some rest tonight. And Tristan should have apologized to you - you, of all people, are NOT lazy.

Wonderful card!
One time I asked Belle to put all the clothes in the laundry basket, she stopped, looked at me and said, that's your job...she has since stopped thinking that way! LOL!

Wonderful card. Love the DP and to get a crisp image with that set lightly sand it, clean and stamp.
Ah the "joys" of motherhood...and you haven't reached the teen years yet.

Beautiful card Allison and yes that fact that Tristan is still breathing is a definite positive note. Kids you gotta love them.
