A Long Overdue Card!

My dear PSF Chris sent me this SU! set at Christmas time. Save some mucking around with my embossing powders and heat gun, this set had never seen the light on an actual card creation! Last Friday, Nancy challenged us Cal-gals to use these colors in combination (and I was lucky enough to have a scrap of this DP with me...it goes perfectly!). Since I was bound and determined to make some Christmas cards, this is what I came up with. Such a gorgeous stamp!

This is the project I had the girls make at Charlotte's tea party. I used barrettes from M's with flowers and faux dew drops from the dollar store. I had the girls assemble these with the red glue dots (since white glue was messy and unreliable and the hot glue gun was not about to make an appearance at this party!). The girls got it relatively easy and each had something to take home with them.

Positive note of the day: We had a fun time at C's party. She enjoyed it so and her friends all looked forward to the special event. Sophia, one of the more outspoken girls in her glass, asked as she left, "Will you be inviting me to your next tea party Charlotte?". Whoa! Mommy has to re-coup from this one! (But I did have lots of help from my nanny and Brad! Thank gawd for that!)
