You gotta know I love sketches if you have been to this blog before! So I am always happy when I have a sketch to work from on LPS Mondays! I mixed some Basic Grey Urban Prairie with LPS'
{I Heart} (one of the best sets ever released!). I think I will be giving it to my mom for Mother's Day since it is creeping up fast this year! It is nice and springy for the occasion...now I just have to figure out the rest of the prezzie!

Positive note of the day: Okay, the game...nuff said. And thank gawd or I would have been very crotchety to deal with (esp. four years from now when the media would keep harping about it!). I hope you all watched too! Those Americans played so well esp. Ryan Miller (I felt so bad when I saw his face accepting silver...).

I agree...not a huge hockey fan but that game was AWESOME (other than the outcome...wanted the US to win!) but yeah,the US teams' faces were so sad when they were getting their silvers. I said to my hubby "no one is smiling. They're getting the SILVER MEDAL in the Olympics for gods sake" and his response was "Yeah, but they're looking at it like they just LOST" :)

Yeah, when did taking silver become a bad/sad thing?!? I thought both teams played really well, and of course, being a Yankee, I wanted to see Team USA win. Can I just say that I hate 'sudden death' ...
Anyway, I thought it was a great hockey game ... one of the best I've seen. And I've seen a ton o'hockey games .... but prolly a lot less than you, Allison!

What a bright and cheery card. The only time I watch hockey is during the Olympics when the US is playing. Everyone played a good game. And if the US couldn't win, I'm Canada did. The funny thing is those players all play in the NHL and some of them are on the same team.
