Shadow Box Page

I made this scrap page for my MIL's birthday...it is a picture of her parents from gosh, at least 25 years ago.

Sorry for the glare on this first one but once I got it into that shadow box, I was not about to take it out again!
  • I added a flourish and the "Family" that I cut with my Silhouette.
  • I created the flowers by cutting out three each (with my Silhouette and a flower image found in the basic library) and following the instructions here. (Love these. I found them much easier to make with my hot glue gun even if I suffered major injuries...bwah ha ha!)
  • I added the silk flowers (thought they kinda looked like lupines) and pearls.
Positive note of the day: T was sick (feverish and with a headache) for most of his birthday morning. He perked up during the day but then was getting tired again towards the end. We totally scored on the birthday gifts...he was quite happy with everything we tracked down for him!

BTW, for those of you who asked, this is a liopleurodon. He is estimated between 35 and 45 feet long with teeth each a foot long. Bigger than today's sperm whale, here he is chowing down on an elasmosaurus.
