LPS Preview #2 - {Beach Jena}

When I saw this stamp set, I knew I wanted to make a scrap page. Charlotte loves her bathing suits (she wears them in the house in the winter time, and outside all summer!) so I chose this picture from our trip to visit my parents two summers ago. My parents live twenty minutes from Lake Huron so it was no chore to get us there and the kids just loved it! I used all the elements from the stamp set, my scallop punch to make some waves and a 99 cent wooden sandcastle from Mike's.

Go check out the other samples (and get in on the drawing for today) at the LPS blog. Pam will draw tonight before she readies the post for tomorrow morning so you gotta hit it now if you wanna win!

Positive note of the day: Took the kids to swimming lessons again today. Was a little perturbed to begin with (running late due to the cat who keeps leaving me "presents" everywhere) but I talked myself into a better mood once Tristan was in the pool and I met up with the girls and Brad (the girls' lessons start later). I had Ave in my charge. I think the whole point of putting her in the lessons (i.e., getting her to move her muscles more in the freedom of the pool) has backfired since she shivers all the time. She cuddles up to me while we are in the pool (which is sweet one-on-one time) but it entirely fails to get her arms and legs moving! Oh well, she is doing gangbusters on the stairs and crawling anyway...

So incredibly sweet! I agree that this set is perfect for scrap booking, especially with all the scene builders in it. There goes my idea for next Monday :>)
