A Labour of Love for C

Many moons ago, Paula made a mini-book about her son Kiernan. The book's theme was all about what he was like at the age of six. I have always wanted to do something similar for my kids. Working with C over the period of a week (a long time for me on a crafty project), I created this "DeLovely" mini-book called "Being 4".

C told me all the things to put in this book and gave plenty of opinions about the embellishments to add. This project has a lot of "bitties" to please her...in fact, I think this book is very much in keeping with her taste (bright colors, lots of bling and hearts added where ever possible!).

Positive note of the day: Funnest moment was watching Ave dance in nothing but a diaper as she sang Carrie Underwood's "Undo It".

What a fantastic job you both did on this wonderful book! What a keepsake for her to hold on to and remember both the year and the process of making it with you. I wish you made a video of Ave singing and dancing - that must have been a real treat! ~chris
