LPS Monday - Buttons and Bows

So I needed a card for my in-laws anniversary on Friday. Since I had to create a card for our LPS Monday challenge, I went with our theme of "buttons and bows" (of course most of my cards have buttons and bows so this wasn't much of a challenge).

To begin, I used a freebie cutting template from myscrapchick.com (seriously, if you have any type of cutting machine, you need to subscribe to their newsletter!). For an autumnal card, I really liked this leafy edge and decided it would be great to pair it up with Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg. I added the blue trim, celery grosgrain ribbon, rust/chocolate buttons pairing and finished it off with some pearls.

LPS Stamps Used: {In Love} and {All Occasions} for interior message.

Should you want to play along with the challenge this week, hit up the LPS blog (remember, there is always a prize given to a random participant!). Remember, Little Paper Shop stamps aren't necessary to play, so come on over!

Positive note of the day: We had a beautiful Halloween night (which never happens!). No jackets or snow pants for us...yahoo!

A year ago today: A cute snowman card! Love how it turned out...
