LPS Monday - A CC and Some News...

Today's LPS Monday is a color challenge of blue, red and olive.

I really like how my card turned out...I call it a "tent topper with a twist" since it is a standard 4.25" square card with the topper sentiment off to the side! I used my Cuttlebug trees (and embossed a couple of them as well). I used a foam, glittery snowflake for the centre of the sentiment, pearls for the trees and an embossing folder in the BG. The BG swatch is an old scrap of Basic Grey's Fruitcake.

Should you want to play along with the challenge this week, hit up the LPS blog (remember, there is always a prize given to a random participant!). Little Paper Shop stamps aren't necessary to play, so come on over!

And here's the news. After much deliberation, Julia has decided to shut down the LPS store at the end of the year. So, as was previously announced, all the store is currently at 40% off but is limited to stock on hand. If you want something, head over now before it's all gone!

Positive note of the day: Made some of my fav shortbread tonight!
