SC314 - Something Old, Something New

I used tonight's SC314 along with the challenge posed by the jingle belles site of "Something Old, Something New". I bought the rest of Heather Ellis' PI digis that I didn't have yesterday and jumped on the chance to make something with one of these cuties (my "something new")!

Did I really have to go with a Christmas challenge since we have all been inundated with holiday cards for the last six weeks? I dunno...this image just called to me. Anyway, we will just call everything else old on this one (since anything older than a month old for me is "old"...ha!).

Positive note of the day: Bought C an Easy Bake Oven after taking back some of the duplicate prezzies she received from the birthday/holiday craze. She is quite excited and so am I since all the dolls around here are ignored whereas there is no way that gal will ignore food! If you have any good "Easy Bake" oven recipes, I am ears! TTYL!

Easy Bake Oven-sucker! We use REAL ovens. Nothing will turn a child off a cooking faster than this stupid toy. I banned them for gifts.

I have got to go pick-up some of those digi-images ... I'm usually note a "cute" image gal, but these I do enjoy ... and this one is fabulous. Thanks so much for joining our Jingle Belle fun.

I remember my Grandma used to make me my own Easy Bake Oven cake mixes from Jiffy Cake mix. Here's a link to some ideas:

Have fun baking with C.

oh wow that digi-image is indeed fabulous...and then you've set it off to perfection with all those glorious textural layers and punches! (plus bonus points for combining rounded and square corners--i just always think that looks amazing, as you have proven quite well!) so very pleased you've found us and are jingling along--i think this is gonna be a fun, FUN year!!! :)

Hey Emeril started with an Easy Bake Oven - someday she might support you like he does his parents! Hubby grew up with him and says he was very into that EBO! ~chris

I really love all the attention to detail to make this very sweet image just "pop". So many small little things that make this all come together. The sheer ribbon, the snowflake, the pearl...small things...but added together lots of impact.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

Super Cute! I don't mind Christmas (after Christmas) at all.

Hope "C" enjoys the oven. I had one as a kid. Can't recall it being a favorite of mine but I do love to bake so maybe it rubbed off on me.
