An Easter Card Already?

Using the sketch found at "A Gem of a Challenge", I was playing with my Copics the other day while waiting to hear if Mubarak was going to step down as president of Egypt (yeah, I'm cool like that). I didn't have much time so I went with this itty-bitty cutie IRAK I had on hand. And those are some old school scraps you are looking at...and one card done for the kidlets for Easter!

Positive note of the day: My boy was the emcee at his Valentine's Day assembly today. Speaking in French and English, he did so well! And he told me he wasn't nervous at all standing up there in front of all those kids and parents. Wha? I would be...even now!

Yowza! That card is fantastic! The embossing, that yummy green panel, the image mat, and of course the image itself - way too cute! Your bow is to die for!!! I am beyond impressed with your son...I really wish that a foreign language curriculum was standard here. We got told at the beginning of the year what our kids would learn in weekly Spanish classes. Well, it's February now, and when I speak basic Spanish, maybe just some days of the week or months of the year, I get blank stares for some of it and that makes my head pop off!!!

Very cute.

My Em was the emcee at her assembly in January too! She only did the French part, but she did awesome. Not one ounce of nervousness. There is no way I would do it! Great job to your T too! I think he is a year younger than mine, so bravo!! :0)
