In the envelope, I saved some journalling:
This sweet picture of you hides the exploits of the afternoon we had just experienced at the optometrist. Stuck with no babysitter, I took you and your brother along with me for a routine checkup.
Once the tests began, you took it upon yourself to touch every button on the optometrist's chair, throw a whole bunch of contact lenses cases on the floor (which you had to get under a sink to find) and then you took the optometrist’s eye paddle away and wouldn't give it back (who knew they were worth $50 each?). I then gave you my purse to rummage through in hopes of keeping you out of the doctor’s supplies. You proceeded to dump the entire contents of my purse on the floor which I expected. What I didn't expect was that Tristan would then proceed to throw them all in the air like he had just won the lottery!
Finally, when we were leaving, I had to chat with the office manager since my glasses had been severely scratched (another “Charlotte moment”). You then proceeded to grab six pairs of glasses from the display case and run for the door. Oh my…you mortified me. I was sure that they had your picture in a “WANTED” poster forever after!
Once we got into the car, I made both you and Tristan close your eyes with no talking for the drive home. You both passed out which probably saved your life!
Positive note of the day: Made some sticky buns which pleased the boy (he loves them so). Pain in the butt, super messy and then they tempt me to no end but at least he's happy!Fun Thing I Found on the Web:

Cracked up when I read fondling and I just love that layout of C she looks so innocent laying there and when she gets older and reads that journal she will stand back and say no way I did that.
