'nola Bars!

As most of you know, I blather on lots about my kids. They are my sidekicks in life so they get a lot of play on this bloggity-blog. And, they have their own blogs too (which are mostly to let all the grandparents in on their day-to-day adventures). On Ave's blog a few weeks back, I posted about her fixation on granola bars which prompted this layout. She always whispers "nola" and then shouts "bars" to me when going to scam one out of our pantry. (She tends to scream all the words she really knows like "mom" and "song".)

Ain't she just a peach here surrounded by her bars? (She was walking around the house with four in her hands just begging for me to open one. Since she had already had two that day, I kept telling her no.) I made this creation with Basic Grey's Curio pad and some stickers from Pyrus. (Ave looks pretty pale here but that is sorta her "normal" compared to the olive tones of T and C.)

Positive note of the day: Finally finished this manual (which was supposed to be a two-day job that turned into two weeks after the source files went missing!). Glad to get that one off my plate since the engineer likes to call me daily for status updates...ugh.
