Sorta CASE

Here was my MO for making this card. I had colored the image using the Lime Rickey DP from Basic Grey as inspiration. Then, wouldn't you know it, the SCS newsletter hit my Inbox showing the Bargello technique using Lime Rickey paper! Well that sealed it...I would have to try it out. I even ended up using some of the same embellishments so this is pretty darn near a CASE (even if that's not how it started!). Certainly not an image or paper I always pick up but I thought it would be a fun birthday card for one of T's friends.

Positive note of the day: Had a job interview this morning with an engineering firm. Can't really make out how it went (I have all the technical acumen but they want more proposal writing experience) so we shall see if I get a call-back after the weekend.

Love the card and that image!!! Bless your heart for turning {some of} us onto that technique, didn't know it had a name!! I scrolled up and have been laughing for probably a good minute about slutty Grammar, darn her.
