To our credit, this was probably unavoidable. With all the sugar in her heart medications from birth and the extra formula she had to get her weight up, she has been reliant upon sugary supplements from day one. In addition, she has a mouth where bacteria just festers. So what could just be done away with a toothbrush for other kids, requires a whole lifestyle change and major dental intervention. It is really important that we deal with this (even though the extractions will mean that she will undoubtedly have crooked adult teeth) since mouth bacteria is very dangerous on one's circulatory system. Jeez...even writing this gets me all nerved up. And now with a job, I have to worry about balancing that with this new hiccup. Oh my.
Anyway, since I have lots of stuff I created before, I share this one with you today. Off to do more organizing for life away from home!
Positive note of the day: Hmm...well the incorporation went easy last night at the Registrar. The lady had been working a 12 hour shift so I made sure I was extra nice to her. C came with me so her goofy self helped lighten the mood. C is definitely my little shadow since I told her I am going downtown everyday!

Sorry to hear about all the dental problems. Hope she does well.....and as you know there are worse things then crooked teeth.
Love your card!
Have a good day.
Phew, sounds like you deserved to collapse on the sofa after such a hectic day Allison!
Such a stressful experience for Avery like the dentist exam is bound to take it out on the whole family. Don't beat yourself up about it though - it's so true.... She's had to go through such a lot, and at least fixing up her teeth will be something positive you can all work towards ;) Change is weird for everyone, but the new routines will settle in time, I'm sure.
Thinking of you, hugs, Ruth S
PS. Cute card - love the combo of patterns!
I'm tired reading all that! Whew!
Beautiful card!
I was getting nervous just reading this! I feel so badly for Ave but she is fortunate to have such caring parents. You, my dear, have a huge plateful. Take your vitamins and drink lots of water.
Какие интерсные цвета! Здоровская открыточка, такая необычная.
Котик чудо, мяф)
I'm so sorry, I'm upset for you:( It is so hard to see our babies have to suffer, and you certainly seem to have to do that alot. They have alot of mouthwashes that can help with bacteria, and ice water can be easier to drink sometimes....or bubbly water.
(I feel silly saying how pretty your card is, but I do know crafting helps us tune it all out, you deserve that sometimes)
Oh sweet Allison, you need a spa day!!! Sorry to hear about the trouble with Ave's teeth! Lots of life changes coming your way, but it will all work out and fall into place! You are blessed with a beautiful family Allison!
big HUGS!
Gorgeous card btw, love those flowers!!!
Adorable card -- so pretty.
Yikes!
The card is pretty - the flowers look really good against the PP.
:( I've had the same dentist trauma - out here it's the IWK for dental surgery, and it's a whole different kettle of fish. They are so amazing at coping with special needs (my guys have autism) and the surgeons/dentists are incredibly compassionate & supportive. I hope you find the same experience in Cal. I wonder if they've discussed dental sealants with you? or spacers? My youngest had a tooth pulled at age 4, and once the gum heals, they can put spacers in to prevent the other teeth from migrating which should help with the adult teeth coming in properly. Not sure if it's possible for Avery but thought I'd mention it anyway. The dentist put sealants on all the molars and adult teeth that had already come through, and so far so good - at least 2 years later, anyhow. I hope you're not beating yourself up too much - I know I felt terrible about it when it happened to my youngest, but we do our very best.
No surprise you are busy... with 3 kids, there's always something going on. Sorry to hear Ava's dental problem... just thinking about it gives me the chills. I am one of those silly people who are afraid of dentists! Good luck with the whole thing!
You are amazing! Still manage to post with all the running around... pretty card... love the poppies. :o)
Oh my, how do you do it girl? Seems like you need a vacation instead of starting a new job LOL! Hang in there. Your card is a wonderful blend of design and great DP's. Those red flowers are so pretty!
Wow that's a lot to handle on your plate but I'm sure you will be able to keep in all in order.
What a pretty card. I really like the flowers.
