Playing in Paradise Challenge Nine

Today Karan sets our challenge at Playing in Paradise: to add a banner to your creation. I felt this was a great time to finally use up these Olivia stickers I had with a very young picture of T (he was only a week old here). It is pretty girly in the color scheme but I like it (and I will force him to like it too!).

Positive note of the day: Today has been a day. Ave is sick which means the whole world better stop. The girl does not deal with medicine, doctors or illness well which means I had to pin her down to clean the gunk out of her eyes (her sinuses are blocked), take her Tylenol and visit the doctor. When we headed down the corridor to visit the doctor she just kept hollering "no, no, no" (so much so that the receptionist knew we were coming!). When the doctor invited her back, Avery said "No. Bye-bye. See you". So to just check out her eyes and nose meant me holding her down while she screamed like a banshee.

Had that job interview. Dunno what to expect. Got a PFO from a company I interviewed with earlier. I didn't really want to work there but I wanted that to be MY decision. Got another meeting with a recruiter next week...at least it's practice!

Still working on our financials here (especially dealing with things like our mortgage, life insurance and taxes). Brad is stressed which makes me stressed (thank gawd he deals with most of that stuff...I have enough things that I spend far too much time stressing about!). Oh well, the grandparents are coming home so next week should entail lots of visits for the kids and some downtime (at night anyway!) for Brad and I. Phew!
