The lion's share of the people I work with are in their late 30s/early 40s. Very few of them have kids so they may not appreciate the calm of our work environment. I certainly do especially once I am here with the cacophony of the WJs. So I am home now hanging out with Ave before bed (C is out with Daddy doing a run to the dump and T is watching dogfights from the Six Day War downstairs on YouTube [he has tested my memory of that quick battle between Egypt and Israel. Now he wants the whole background story on the Iran-Iraq war of the eighties...time to pull out my old history texts!]).
Anyway, I will make this quick so Avery isn't pulled into the vortex of Treehouse programming! Here's a page I made a few nights ago when it struck me I would have twenty minutes to do it. And yes, shortly after finishing up the page with some rounded corners, I was back outside with the kids doing more garden stuff!

adorable photo!
great LO Allison! I like the background you created with the text paper!

I don't know how you came up with such cute projects in such a short time...it takes me forever! I did manage to get my flower pots planted this week between the rain storms!
A 20 min lo? Impressive!
I can completely relate to the quiet of work vs. the volume at home :>) My sister stopped by where I work one afternoon and she compared it to a morgue and said that she felt the need to whisper because it is that quiet. Home, with 3 kiddos could never be described as quiet, except of course at midnight :>)
Очень красивое оформление, немного готичненько, но смотрится велколепно.
Totally love the page. What a sweet photo of T. My goodness, girl, where do you get your energy? I get tired just reading about what you do!
Those of us with grown children, forget just how chaotic it can be with little ones, especially when you work full time and then come home and take care of all of the family and home needs. You rock, Allison!
And I can't believe that you created with layout in such short order ...man your mind must never sleep!
