Today's Playing in Paradise challenge is a color one. I thought some of my Crate Paper School Spirit collection would be fun to use on a layout of Brad and the kids. Tristan had to bring home his "Gateau de Lime" (Lime Cake - the frog) and babysit it over the weekend. One of the requirements was also to take a picture of Gateau de Lime with the family. I chose to go with a darker BG than the color palette called for but I thought it would allow the paler elements to pop! Cute methinks.Products Used:
- Chocolate Chip CS.
- Basic Grey chipboard letters.
- Martha Stewart Cherish Punch Around the Page set.
- Crate Paper School Spirit DP and chipboard.
- Crate Paper Restoration chipboard.
Here are the rest of the team's sites for more creative inspiration!
- Julie Dinn: Kreative Jewels
- Carla Peicheff: Moralia’s Weblog
- Allison Cope: Your Memories
- Dana Nelson: Aspiring to Creativity

Positive note of the day: Ugh! My scheduled post did not work today...boo! So looking forward to doing lots of nothing today.

Super page, those papers are just fab with the pic. What a great looking family you got there.
Love the Fun Thing!
Great layout, love the ruler elements & chipboard you used.
Fab page Allison, soooo much fun!
Lovin all these pages you have been posting!...I am a wee bit slow and a lot tired so it took me a few to figure out the melons sign LOL!
Tristan was probably be the only one who went back with an entire layout instead of just a photo! The darker background definitely works with the lighter forward elements for this one. And great concept in responsibility for the kids having to 'babysit' Gateau de Lime.
Super cute layout!Love everyones smiles!
