It was hard to create a page that played off the blues, pinks and peaches in this photo. It's okay but as Paula might say "not my best work"...ha! (Paula will kill me for including this but whenever she gets me with a zinger, I then must bring it up often and for years on end. She once told me as I was recounting Tristan's fascination with garlic coil, pork and beans as well as alpha-getti (he was two) that she "did not feed her family processed foods". How haughty, I thought! When I brought it up a few weeks later, she didn't even remember saying it and was sheepish at the re-telling. Now when the cousins come over and we make a McDonald's run I am quick to remind her that "Yes, I do feed my family processed foods". Ha!)

Positive note of the day: We had a nice afternoon with the cousins in the warm sun yesterday. They had lots of sprinkler fun which will have to hold them awhile since we have another forecasted week of rain!
