One way to get Ave to settle down is to watch "In the Night Garden". It comes on here at 6 PM just as we are doing the nighttime routine. Sometimes, if she is particularly sweet in asking, we will find it on YouTube and play the songs she particularly likes (as Daddy was here). A couple months back, her fav was Iggle Piggle but now I think she is crushing on Makka Pakka. (Believe me, unless you have a two year old, little of this will make sense to you...)

 Positive note of the day: Fun time was had in Banff. Even with just an overnighter, it did feel like we got away. We packed a lot in for just two days...hopefully that means the kids will sleep like the dead tonight!
