Got no camera...
...so I share another layout of me and the girlie.

Positive note of the day: Went out with C tonight to hit the Wal-Mart. Got her a dress (she likes things in black which they seem to specialize in) as well another Hello Kitty t-shirt (also in black). I got some spin pins from Goody...they are super fun esp. for my thick hair!

DeLovely Mojo
I played along with the Mojo Monday sketch this week (first time in a long time!). I, of course, could not stick to the sketch but it was pretty close! Used up some more DeLovely but, like most of my paper, I still seem to have lots of this pad no matter how hard I try!DP Used: Cosmo Cricket DeLovely
Positive note of the day: Got a cranky girl this AM (C, that is). I need to find something to do with her before she drives me nuts (and we took her to the wave pool yesterday! It seems she needs to be in a constant state of excitement or life is just not worth living!)...Fun Thing I Found on the Web:

It's time for another Playing in Paradise challenge and it's my turn...so that means a sketch (doesn't it always?). Don't they look great here?Stash Used:

Startled T and Toddler C
This is a long forgotten picture in my stash of photos that have been printed but never used. T looks a little startled but it's a cute pic of both he and C.
Positive note of the day: Training started today. I worked out some of the numbers and got 998 (of which 539 have registered). We had some technology issues but overall, it went well. I am feeling less stressed...let's hope nothing changes that!

More With the Lemonade...
So I told you I was pumping through the Lemonade...and here is more of it! A picture of me with the girly and we are all smiles. I have no other time to craft this weekend since I have been doing a massive re-org of my office. I emptied the dining room of the actual dining room furniture since we never used it and pulled all my stuff from downstairs.
I am going to have to get more organized that I have been (i.e., I can't just throw it around)...and the new IKEA catalogue is out. Did you see they have a free app for the iPad? Love that (of course, the kids were PO'd that I was using my own iPad instead of them. Even Ave has mastered the term "iPad" in her garbled language...oh my!)
Positive note of the day: Brad finished our deck in the backyard. We will add to it as we go (maybe a rail or some plants) but it looks much neater back there! Ignore my sparse garden...that is a work in progress too!

Lemonade is Dwindling...
So I told you that I bought four more pads of Basic Grey DP, right? And, with four more to be released in the coming months (which I am sure will find their way into my home), I got to "use it up"! So I took out my Lemonade DP and stickers and made a significant dent in this two year old release.
This is Ave with Grandpa. I have a bunch of doubles in this latest batch of pictures I had developed so I will have to make another layout with this pic for Grandma's album!
Positive note of the day: Going with the boy to the Aerospace Museum today. Yep...he picked it! If it were me, we would going shopping for fun fall tops. Oh well, maybe later...

Finally Got Ave's Video Posted!
It took me a while to get Ave's video posted (I filmed at a super high resolution so I had to figure out how to get it post-worthy!) but here it is. I am understanding a lot more of what she is communicating but most of the time I just say "uh-huh" and lord knows what I am agreeing to!
Playing in Paradise - Punches!
It's time for another Playing in Paradise challenge! Merlie has made it easy this week...all we have to do is use punches! And I went punch mad this week with a scrap page of Avery in a beautiful hat crocheted by one of my best PSFs Sue. Aren't these brights fun?
P.S. The journalling is simply the lyrics of one of Ave's fav songs (My Hat it Has Three Corners). Since she doesn't talk as much as she sings, we sing a lot (about anything...even hats!).
Stash Used:
Positive note of the day: It's a long weekend for me. Yet, I will still be writing and then I have to set up the Convention Centre on Sunday because we start training on Monday. So looking forward to just getting it done already!

Hello Nephew Kiernan...
I was playing around with my new pad of Basic Grey Oxford DP (looks to be a great choice for school/masculine layouts) and picked a photo off my big pin board that I have in one of our hallways (where I show off friends' pictures and all those school projects the kids bring home). This picture of my nephew is from the year before last but that pretty much sums up my scrapping strategy...look at the paper and then find a photo to play along!
P.S. My nephew Kiernan has always said "Hello Auntie Alli" in this formalized way. My response has always been "Hello Nephew Kiernan" which is why I chose this as the title for my post.
Positive note of the day: Since the kids are not home and I worked till 6:30 tonight, I came home and went to bed. I am up now in the middle of the night but I feel better. Could still have another 12 hours though methinks...

Dutch Girl Scraps?
I had a couple of pieces of Dutch Girl Cosmo Cricket paper left (this was so popular many moons ago) so I made a quick card with some ol' In Color CS too! Yep...that's one piece of paper gone from a stash of 1000s!
Positive note of the day: It's been a lot of fun (and easy!) to have Ave all by herself. She has been lapping up all the attention and turning into a big ham whenever it strikes her!

Ave in a Box!
We had this box kicking around the house around the Christmas season. For a few days, it seemed that all the kids wanted to sit in it (proving once again that there is no need to purchase gifts...just the boxes they come in!). Isn't Ave the little peach sitting here with that ever-present smile?
DP Used: Basic Grey Out of Print
Positive note of the day: I am counting down to the start of training...six days to go! I can't wait...today was stressful and I am about done with the pressure!

CAS and Lauderdale
Using the bright papers of Basic Grey's Lauderdale, I threw together this card for the CAS sketch this week. Well, it should have only took a few minutes but I puttered around the house looking here and there for everything. Indeed, to get this posted I looked for my camera USB cord on and off for hours!DP Used: Basic Grey Lauderdale
Stamp from Paper Inspirations
Positive note of the day: Found a fire pit for our deck today. Went shopping just with Ave since the older WJs left for Radium this morning with their grandparents!Fun Thing I Found on the Web:
