After finding this fun ribbon from a box of Valentine chocolates, I elected to make that my focal and then added some faux stitching for the burgundy layer. I stamped the sentiment and then heat embossed it (had to remove the cob webs from my heat gun for that one!).

Beautiful paper you used on this lovely card. Hope you have fun shopping. I've taken myself off of FB - was really spending too much time on there and other reasons.
Very beautiful card! Lovely papers.
hugs, Helena
Very pretty. Love the bow and the embossing. I still love the look of embossing powder on a card.
First of all .... you got Valentine chocolates??!!!! And, your card turned out perfect for the challenge.
very pretty...love how you recycled your ribbon. People always think me a hoarder when I do that...but hey...it works LOL. I use my heat gun more for unsticking glued paper than I do for embossing, so unfortunately I use it a lot, I hate when I stick paper crooked!
Hey, my V-day chocolates didn't have ribbon...but then they did have a cover that was sparkly with microbeads. Of course, maybe husbands shouldn't give their diabetic wives chocolate at all, but that's a totally different story! lol
Love the upcycling, and the faux-stitching, and that you're still working on Christmas cards. You'll be so far ahead for next year!
Your gold embossing looks beautiful with those papers, and you've made perfect ribbon choice as well!! Beautiful, Allison!!
