Positive note of the day: We are staying in less than desirable circumstances in the small town of my mom's (all the nice hotels are full) but the kids are having fun and the weather's nice so we will just ignore that fact...

PS we have stayed in some hotels over the years too, where you do not take your shoes off...even in the shower LOL
The one we always remember was called the 'Johnston' we now refer to all less than passable hotels as that.
