Literally, a five-minute card...

One of my friends popped in today with about ten minutes notice. She had recently had a birthday and my whole stash is strewn around my downtown office. Not wanting to forget her birthday (it was a big one!), I made this card in about five minutes (between kids pulling at me to get them important things like juice and ponytail holders!).

Positive note of the day: Went to an open house today. Kids were rambunctious as usual but the other parents seemed to appreciate their ability to "get the party started" whereas I kept rolling my eyes whenever I heard them screeching from the basement. Oh well, at least I didn't have to shush them the entire time.
