Two, two layouts in one!
I made these layouts for the kids' grandpa...it's his birthday today and I kept up the tradition of "homemade" gifts.
Tristan's states: "I love my Grandpa because he goes on long bike rides with me and fishes my planes out of the tree!"
Charlotte's states: "I love my Grandpa because he makes me laugh."
I used the same general layout for both with a mix of DCWV All Occasion Scrapbook Kit papers, cardstock and stickers. I used the following free fonts for the journaling:
TFL!

2SFYOU Bonus Sketch
I elected to do the 2SFYOU bonus sketch (linked up through the thumbnail on the left) yesterday but, by the time it was done, I was too lazy to blog it. (It does take me way too much effort to take a picture, edit it for online display and then write about it here...maybe that's why I am not excessively verbose...hmm...)This is a TAC (The Angel Company) IRAK (Image Random Act of Kindness) that I colored with my copics. I mixed some very old SU! (Stampin' Up!) scraps together and voila, it's done. (I just realized how much I talk in acronyms here [because I added all the definitions here for those who may not be fluent in this "cardmaking speak"]. Yikes!)
Errata:
- We may go to a Stampede breakfast at my brother's office this morning...it's raining right now though and I really don't want to sclep three kids through that for some pancakes and sausage. (And, knowing my three princesses, I doubt they would be enthused by that proposition either!)
- My brother and his BF left this morning (hence the early post). I will miss them (and so will the kids). They were so helpful (they re-orged my garage and fixed my closet door which has been off its hinges for months!), patient with the crazies and lots of fun. I think I will be paying for all my chat time by working all weekend!
- I guess I will pump now...gawd, I hate that machine!

Tristan's First Halloween
These pictures were taken just after Tristan reached six months of age for his first Halloween. We didn't go anywhere...I just wanted to dress him up for my own amusement!
He is so big here (that costume is sized for 12 - 18 months). And look! He's sitting up all by himself. (This is such a marked contrast for Ave [who, BTW, vocalizes every chance she can get in this screamy, bird-like call...it's funny to listen to!])
P.S. The title is "hippity-hoppity" since I used to sing "Peter Cottontail" to him all the time!

Another Way to Iradicate the "I'm Bored" Chants
Andrea made up this bingo game for an upcoming road trip. I was thinking I would modify it for the backyard by making them look for specific bugs, flowers, birds, etc. Just another weapon for the arsenal I say!

LPS Monday - A Sketch by Moi and Digis to Win!
It's that time again! Sorry I didn't really blog this weekend...I have been busy catching up with my brother (read: me chatting lots!) which didn't leave any time for craftiness!
I worked up the sketch for this week for the LPS challenge.
You'd think that I would have been prepared but no, I waited till the last minute to create this cutie using {Tea Time}. In my head, I think they are having London Fogs and coconut macaroons (two of my faves). I added some Liquid Applique just for grins.
